Timothy Abbott & Arcana Mundi is the music created by lyricist /vocalist Timothy Abbott and various co-writers, as well as the newer music showcased that is written as a band concept with Marty Rigby.
Centered in Austin, Texas and backed by the area’s proven talents, they have music covering original compositions in rock, pop, gospel, country, Americana, folk, vocal jazz, blues and R&B. Boasting an original setlist of close to 40 songs plus some choice renditions from the past, this entertaining 5 piece is front and center one of the new upcoming Austin bands. Current live act consists of Marty Rigby & Lucius Foreman on guitars, Lenny Ashcraft on bass, Jason Toll on drums, Timothy Cleve Abbott on lead vocals. We have a constant flow of new music written and being played out Live, so follow us around. The setlist changes frequently!
On the new record “The Fragrance Of So Many Roses” singer/ lyricist Timothy Abbott is the songwriting engine and Mark Epstein is the producer/ arranger who plays multiple instruments and mixes.
A wide variety of Austin talents are present here; musicians Dave Pulkingham, David Henderson, Joe Morales, Phil Bass, Noah Mosgofian, Jose Manuel Tejeda, David Grissom, Jennifer Mulhern, Mark Epstein, Lisa Marshall and others back vocalists Malford Milligan, Jacqui Walker, Giulia Millanta, Denia Ridley, Courtney Santana, Michael Cross, Ed Kliman, Kate Howard, Timothy Abbott, Aimee Bobruk, Katie Shore, Brett Barney, others on 12 tracks. This collection is a slice of the many compositions they’ve created over the past decade.
